Hi everyone, I'm looking at the techincal data for the High Speed DO 16 Module and I understand what output delay time is but I don't know what Switching frequency is. 6ES7322-1BH10-0AA0 Technical data In my case I've got inductive load and according to the data the value for switching frequency is 0,5Hz. It means that the module does something 2 times per second, right? but what exactly does it do? I'm sorry if the question is a bit silly but up to now I was handed the hardware I had to use and now I have to chose it myself and to me, reading the technical data is like reading a hieroglyph. There are so many things I don't understand. Thanks for your help |

Hello Saruca the DQ does not do anything by itself. A switching frequencylimitation of 0.5Hz indicates the fastest permissbleDQ ON-OFF-ON-OFF-ON etc. switching. You need to ensure in your program that you do not try to activate-deactivate the DQ faster than this. Have a look too at the FAQ below which has more on theterminology: What is the meaning of the "Lamp load" specification in digital modules? I hope this helps |
