TIA 11 UPD2 craches after trying to safe HMI

Banginis123 Experienced Member Joined: 11/25/2010 Last visit: 4/29/2025 Posts: 21 Rating: (9)	Hello, maybe is solution, which i did not know? I have create new project with TIA v11 UPD 2. Added HMI KTP400 or KTP600. And when i'm trying to safe it, it crashes.. Any things?

I have changed region to English (United States) and after that craches gone. So if somebody has problem with HMI craches, change your regional to English (United States) P.S i did not test with German regional.

I have changed region to English (United States) and after that craches gone. So if somebody has problem with HMI craches, change your regional to English (United States) P.S i did not test with German regional. Great job my friend ! I had problem that V11 crashed when I try to open or add HMI device. I even had opened support request for that and still no help from there. I've read yout post and didi the same. And it worked . No more crashed. My regional settings was also Lithuanian. Anyway this is not a solution, only a workaround, so Siemens developement team should do something about this because I love my Lithuanian regional settings . Thanks again for your great feedback here.
