system time KTP1000 with V11 and FW2

koenb Silver Member Joined: 6/26/2009 Last visit: 11/27/2024 Posts: 122 Rating: (23)	Dear All, Can it be true that the method of using a global area pointer to synchronize the hmi system time with PLC_local time is not working on the new platform. before : KTP1000 +V10.5 + cpu 1214 V1. The global area pointer "time-date PLC" was linked to a DB DTL variable wich is the result of a RD_LOC_T instruction. On the HMI then the timefield is linked to that DTL variable and HMI shows the right PLC time. Also the items in the alarmwindow get the right time. meaning : All OK now : KTP1000 + V11 (basic) + cpu 1214 V2 I use the same global area pointer and instruction but the time isn't synchronized with the plc . the DB DTL variable shows the right local time. Anyone who have tested this ? thanks in advance Koenb
