abo gamil Posts: 1 Rating: (1)	hi for all 1-I want to connect encoder with a,b and z (rotary) to cpu 314 c 2dp and I donot know how creating the block sfb 48 in ob1 ..............can you help me 2-we have cpu 314 ifm and it has password and it donot have mmc (memory card) can i format this cpu for factory seeting >>>>and downloading new program please help me

Bilal Moolla Posts: 133 Rating: (9)	I am busy with a simialar rotary incrimental encoder with 2048 ppr. It seems like your have to use the hardware interupt OB40 to read the pulses. When I use OB1 and OB35 the PLC goes into Stop mode. There are other OB's which you can load that prevent the cpu from going into stop but the SF LED lights up. I am using the standard blocks that are supplied but I am struggling to get the counter to work at this stage.
