Encoder read error

The problem I have I when I do tests without material it works fine, but when it starts with material the reading of pulses starts to oscilate. It is a cutting machine. What can be the problem the oscillation orconfiguration on the encoder. Thanks.

Marko Bursic Posts: 1410 Rating: (154)	Then you have wrong parameter setting impulso/sentido, I thinkit meansimpulse/direction, its different type of encoder that has two signlals one for counting and other giving direction, it has built-in electronic module that converts quadrature signal to impulse/dir. In your case you need to switch to quadrature AB, this is the widest used encoder in automation. You can find some information on internet about different types of encoders.
