SM 336F, AI 6x0/4...20mA HART,,, Disabling the channel

Mr.Jose Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hi, I am using 317F-2PN/DP CPU with 2, IM153-4PN in failsafe system. I am using SM 336F, AI 6x0/4...20mA HART module & its channel 1 is spare. I had disabled the channel from(F-Wire break detection) but still Module & channel is showing SF fault. Msg. is "Underflow module" channel 1.. How to avoid this error as the channel is spare & open... Thanks in advance....

Helios Posts: 27 Rating: (1)	Hi If it possible, try to set the "Measuring range" to 0..20mA. Are the channels off-line, the channels must be deactivated by the "Evaluation of the sensors".

Mr.Jose Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Thanks for the reply.. I am having only channel 1 as spare.. so i cant deactivate evaluation as it will disable channel 1 & 4. Any other option to deactivate this single channel?
