Compare SCL FB's

pobrien Posts: 23 Rating: (0)	Hi, I have re-compiled and downloaded an existing SCL FB. Now whenI compare the block prior to compilation to thenew recompiled block the result of comparison says that block codes are different. However there is no difference when I comparethe blocksusing excel as per: /tf/WW/en/Posts/62859 I want to be sure that by recompiling I haven't affected the functionality of the FB. Can anyone advise on this? Thanks

Aret Posts: 2348 Rating: (265)	Well, 2 thing you can do: 1) Right click on block then choose "Compare blocks" online/offline. Then push Details button. If checksum is the same - code is the same. 2) If not - open block via STL editor, then open block online. Copy these 2 to excel to find out difference. Long way, but gives 100% guarantee. Summary - after comparison and ensuring there is no diff - REdownload block to exclude this work another time
