Standard it's 3 ms, but you can choose between 0,1ms, 0,3ms, 3ms and 15ms When you use the integrated count functions, the max count frequency is 60 kHz Best regards, Wizard

In this case you need to see the time response of the digital input module and the program cicle. For example, if you have 100ms of OB1 you will not read frequences higher as 1/(2100ms) = 5Hz. 2 - Using IO with process interruption and a interruption program (OB40). Be carreful because it can enlarge the OB1 prossessing too much! In this case you need to see the interrupt processing time of CPU and the response of the digital input module. If a module has filter/delay of 10ms then the frequence will be 1/(210ms)=50Hz. 3- Using dedicated hardware: In this case take a look on the specification of the module and the used sensor (for example FM350-1 can read up to 500kHz).
