CPU 226 connect with WinCC via Mobus Protocol suite

nightmare Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	hi all , I have CPU 226, PC/PPI caple , Microwin , WinCC . I configure : S7-200 connect with WinCC via Mobus Protocol suite , and when I check the "status of Driver connection" in WinCC , it's : OK . But , I don't know how to set the tag , I don't understand the address of the tag( exemple : Step7 with WinCC : when we set the tagin WinCC : M0.0, the Tag in Step7 is M0.0 too. But , with S7-200 withWinCC, if I set a binary tag in WinCC , then ,I don't knowthe tag corresponding in S7-200 ) Can u help me , and give me some example aboutsome tag in WinCC and some tags correspondings in S7 200 . Thanks alot .

Helmut_13 Posts: 2930 Rating: (432)	Hi, why you use Modbus? To get a Modbus communication for the S7-200 you have to use the Modbus Library. Thisba defaultnot part of MicroWin. WinCC can directly communicate with a S7-200 via PPI or MPI. I hope this helps. Regards Helmut

nightmare Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	ah ha , thank alot , I work with the guide in that link and I connect succes S7-200 with WinCC . I user PC Access for OPC server and in WinCC, I configure the driver: OPC . It connect OK and it can tranfer the data together . Thank you .
