s7 1200 and simotion communication on profibus

Rudrani Posts: 163 Rating: (4)	Hi, Can anybody tell me how to establish profibus communication between S7 1200 as master and Simotion D as slave in TIA portal V11. Denilson Pegaia Diamond Member Joined: 9/23/2005 Last visit: 1/20/2026 Posts: 4450 Rating: (1487)	Hi, if you have already place the drive, connected to the PROFIBUS, linked with the CPU, configured the telegram and the IO interface area, then it is just now a question to read inputs and write outputs (as Ix.y, IWz, Qx.y, QWz) in the user program.

Have already configure the SIMOTION D as Slave with SIMOTION Scout? The SIMOTION D can't configured in TIA V11/V12, only the GSD communication can be configured but the configuration of the SIMOTION must done in SIMOTION SCOUT/Step7 Classic! Regards Christoph
