PLC-Stop Mode

Swami_GS Posts: 43 Rating: (0)	Hello Experts, Have some problem with PLC switching to Stop mode, Am using S7-400 PLC and as soon as i download my whole program, My PLC switches to Stop mode within some minutes, for your reference am attaching the Help event snap shot and module information snap shot. hdhosseini Diamond Expert Joined: 1/28/2009 Last visit: 1/5/2026 Posts: 6892 Rating: (1368)	Hello, Why you do not consider "Cycle Time Exceeded" log into account?My suggestion check "Scan Cycle Time" tab in module information window for more details on how much time needed to execute you codes.You can increase time needed in Hw.Config and check it each cycle in OB1 local data. If we consider the occured case as a programming error,check your programs for (Endless) Loops. This is what I can share from evidences. Best regards Hamid Hosseini

Eastern Posts: 557 Rating: (64)	Hello, Time exceed for 2 reason. Either it is because of program or yourPLC is excessing your hardware & did not get in define time. Try following. 1)In OB1 put block end (BE) in your first network & download. it will not scan your program. if you PLC is ok than problem is backup. if not than you have to increase time in hardware configuration & can create OB80 & download. 2) You see online status- module inforamtion of CPU-Scan cycle time.
