diagnostic log files

But, could we use the strings that Simotion Message Handling creates, and create our own log file on the CF? Any idea on how to easily get that file from the CF into the hands of our customer so they can email it to us? I assume a D controller will not send emails.

Manfred Posts: 156 Rating: (17)	Hi, The process of backing up and restoring diagnostic data differs according to which SIMOTION platform is being used (C/P/D). SIMOTION D is the only SIMOTION device with a service selector switch or a DIAG button. Have a look to the SIMOTION SCOUT Doku “Overview of service and diagnosticsOptions” (SIMOTION_Service_and_Diagnostics.pdf). Another way is with IT DIAG. The diagnostic data can be read out as a ZIP file in Diagnostic files. Regards Manfred
