Problem with Simovert Master drive

jimshad Posts: 30 Rating: (0)	Hi all.... I am facing one prblem with Simovert masterdrive. While runnuing it is tripping without any alarm. Here were are using CEMAT based PCS 7. Only feed back error (ESS) message getting. NO any alarms in Simovert panel. The tripping is sometimes frquently, sometimes once in two day. Simovert panel is connected through profibus. Please help me in this regard Jimshad

Use the DriveMonitor tool With the DriveMonitor also a trace with trigering on fault or on a certain drive condition (status word 1)and a preetriger can be done. I would trace the the control word 1, in order to exclude, that the prpblem hasn't the control as origin. As described by you, it seems, that the problem comes from outside. Please refer also to the masterdrives CUVC compendium, esp. the function diagrams.

If you are not getting any trip indicationon drive then I suspect, drive is not getting tripped but your system does and drive is getting OFF due to your system Trip Please check other systems too. I think problem might be outside the drive Regards,
