7th order polynomial

DavidBrown Posts: 975 Rating: (9)	I should want to use 7th order polynomial in cam-profile. In the camedit section of Scout, I only see possibility to use 5th order polynomial. Is there any way to use 7th order polynomial?

Ok, But how can I create a profile from dwell to dwell, with jerk at the beginning and end at 0, and continious jerk (only smooth changes of jerk). I suppose it could be possible by dividing my profile in different sections, but I don't succeed in creating such a profile.

Then there is a button "VDI Assistent", when you open the cam. 4.2.6 Motion laws in accordance with VDI http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/61055960
