Trace signals from 3 encoders

DavidBrown Posts: 975 Rating: (9)	I want to trace signals from 3 encoders on a machine. The purpose is monitoring the motion of machine with non Siemens drives. The non Siemens drives have incremental encoder emulation. I only have a Simotion D425-2 and three SMC 30 modules. Is it possible to trace the three encoder signals simultanuously, whithout a Sinamics motor module connected? If not, can I do it with a motormodule connected, but only 24V DC (I have no 400V and Line module)? Thanks

zako_ Posts: 895 Rating: (67)	.., I`m not the SIMOTION expert, but I would parametrize three encoder objects. I think you can define standardtelegramm to them (telegram 83 ?) to get actual postion, speed, ... So you can trace this values on SINAMICS side (r61, r479, ...), or on SIMOTION.
