What to do when 27 Flags is not enought?

Atri Posts: 13 Rating: (0)	Hi, I'm using Logo OBA7 Ethernet and Weintek HMI. Everything works fine. I'm using M flags to read/write binary state from HMI. For example I connect flag to RS latch exit and then I know in HMI when latch is on or off. I just used all 27 flags and also not wired outputs Q - I've used them as a flag (also easy to read/write in HMI) - it is all over. Is there any other option how to send/receive information to HMI about binary state from LOGO (RS latch for example) I thought that should be possible by VM but I can't find anything. Thank you for all response Regards Wojtek

Atri Posts: 13 Rating: (0)	Hi Thank you all for the answers. Navnag - yes I did optimalization it already - is not enough. I need to do it in current project with LOGO. Betel - it is an option. Thank you. Wago - it has nothing to do with kind of HMI. By the way Weintek is cheap and cool :) Toeternietoe - yes I already did it. Thank you. The most annoying thing about flag is that I have to use them (or outputs Q) when I want to feedback output to input in some blocks - then info appears "recursions only allowed via outputs and flags". What a waste... By the way I thought that maybe in memory map are there regions when can I use (VM) as a flags but I can't find anything about this. Regards Wojtek

For example: You have three flags M1, M2 , M3 then you can represent 2^3 =8 messages 000 001 010 011 100 101 110 111 Now program your HMI according to the above messages , let say when Button1 clicked , set M1 = 0, M2 = 0,M3 =1. Then if you want, when this button is clicked Q1 activated , from your Logo side program accordingly . I hope this helps a little. Rgs
