Hi there, I am not an expert on the V20 yet; maybe I can help a little. Are you looking to work out the power budget of your machine? Do you want to know how much power is taken from the external 24Vdc power supply? -OR- The DC power converted inside the drive as drawn from the AC input. -OR- Power flowing through the DC bus when connecting several V20 drives on a DC bus. ...... If it is the 1st scenario: The V20 has a 24Vdc power supply included inside the drive. The 24Vdc consumed by an external power supply is what you connect onto.. a) ..opto isolated inputs (max 15mA per pin), b) relay output (max 100mA, load dependant) and c) transistor output (max 500mA, load dependant). If what you look for is documented, it should be in this document: SINAMICS V20 Inverter, Operating Instructions, 02/2013, A5E31842719 It has much more to offer than the Getting Started guide. Hello Josh, I am not aware of a published formula, but there are some similar values available in SINAMICS V20. For instance from Operating Instructions Manual, parameter r0032 displays a calculated mechanical shaft power. This should be representative of the power on the dc link minus the minimal losses of conversion from dc-ac for the motor. Also, perhaps could use r0026 Actual filtered DC Link Voltage and r0069(2) DC Link Current. Power would be r0026 times r0069(2) [i.e. Power = Voltage times Current for a dc voltage].
