Controlling simovert externally

dnk185 Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hello, First of all, im using a siemens simovert vc drive. I'm wondering is there is a internal terminal strip in the drive that I can hardwire a external switch to start and stop the motor. (motor being a siemens induction type) If there is, what are the addresses for terminals of the switch. Taking a look inside the drive tomorrow morning. Thanks in advance!

There are several digital inputs available, but the function for external control needs to be parametrized first and of course depends from your actual parametrized control.
