I had thought that that could be the problem but I have asumed that you placed them because you have mentioned it. When this caps are not placed, then the module is still powerless and the H-CPU would not recognise it. Sorry that I didn't mentioned it...

Dreminee Posts: 58 Rating: (2)	Make sure that both systems are exacly the same, hardware and firmware. Check if the firmware is equal and otherwise try to reload the firmware in one system. Otherwise send me the HWconfig. and the diagnostic buffer of both cpu's. Greetings Dreminee

Both the racks were getting detected as Rack0 eventhough the dip switch inside the IFM were properly set as 0 and 1 because the the covering caps were missing in both the IFMs. The covering caps were having a projection which displaces a spring loaded activation switch for the IFMs. Since the cover was not fastened, the Spring loaded activation switch was not displaced and hence the modules were detected as rack0 by default since the IFMs were deactivated.. It is not possible to put CPU in H mode without Covering Caps according to me. I also configured the H cpu as a normal CPU by removing the Covering Cap and was working fine. I think this kind of problem is eliminated in New CPU Versions which dont have the Rack setting switch inside the IFMs..They are presentin back of the CPU. Thankyou... Vishnukarthick. You are great, We have the same problem, IF module covering cap was not not fixed, that why this problem came,We fixed the covering cap then every things back to normal

I will try monday, i hope this solves my problem everything is ok:cable,firmware but there is a problem.also i attached now diag buffer.if you check my diag buffer,it will be very helpfull for me.
