there is no 32gb card available.

the mlfb of the card ist not in the system (no valid siemens MLFB).

Yes, i have also read about the 32GB I can’t find it in the industry mall.

I think you need to contact your distributor not only for availability (as in the manual) but also to send you a doctor as they tell you the price. I don’t know the price but let’s make a guess when 24MB is grossly €xxx,- (€xx each MB) calculate it yourself when you have 32768 of them

When you have log files this big I also suggest you to use an external box PC

I suppose nobody knows the real answer to my question as everyone keeps talking around it.

I cannot use a computer to do the data logging because we have a couple of locomotives where we use the S7-1200 as a control system. You can't fit a computer on every locomotive. I can't use the GPRS module either, because the locomotives often travels to other countries and then you have to continuously change the simcard and the configuration on the Teleserver.

I am sure the memory card will not cost as much as you think. Maybe, because it is much bigger than 24MB, they will charge a bit less per MB.

I know that the PLC is actually not meant for Data Logging purposes, but if that is really the case, maybe Siemens shouldn't promote the Data Logging feature the way they do.

If anybody know whether I can use the 32gb memory card or not, please inform me because, as you see, I am in a bit of a pickle and can't use anything else than the PLC to do Data Logging.
