WinCCFelxible hangsup while creating empty project

Techy Posts: 86 Rating: (2)	Hello All, I have newlyinstalled the WinCCflexible software & it is giving me errors. While creating empty project the winccflexible hangsup at "Creating managers" progress bar. I checked up all the services & they seem to be fine. I am logging in as an administrator, so I guess winccF has all the permissions to create any managers. Any suggestions to this problem? Thanks, Techy

The Brain Posts: 1611 Rating: (121)	Hi, did you install the flexible software atfirst time? Did you use flexibel 2005 or 2007? Did you have installed a older version before? Did you get fault messages during the installation? Note: When you install the software, then you mut log on as admin and no viren scan should be run! Can you uninstall the software and install it again? If you have installation problems then the best are you contact the customer support. regards,

Boesmans Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hi, I have the same problem. I started first with the installation of the application instead of the service packs cd. However, I removed everything and reinstalled everything in the correct order but the problem persists. I even did this twice, the second time I deactivated the antivirus program (mcafee) and used the "cleaning" tool without any luck. I did the installation with the local administrator under winxp sp2, then a normal user doesn't succeed to create an empty project. I have also tried to use the different switches I found in the faq and the forum (-clean -silent, etc. No luck. Any other ideas ? Many thanks in advance Stefaan Boes

Boesmans Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Dear, I removed the program through the add/remove programs panel, then ran the cleaningtool v1.1 (no conflict found however). After reboot, reinstalled everything under the local administrator. Reboot again, launch the program under local administrator. Everything works fine then. Afterwards, logging in with the normal user, the programhangs again. I repeated the removal and reinstallation again with the user a member of the local administrator group, but this seems not to work (template error). Conclusion: in my case it seems only to work when installed by and ran by the local administrator ! Sadly this is against or policies. Does anybody know a way around ? Many thanks in advance.

Boesmans Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	I have received hotfix3 and installed it accordingly. The program doesn't hang anymore, but the following error appears: "Creation of the template failed. Try to create the project again. If it fails, contact support". So, I would appreciate it very much if someone of the support engineers could take a look at this. Many thanks in advance.
