Help guys!

I have configured a PC system in TIA Portal v13 and I am confused onto how to arithmetically add REAL values which tags came form different PLCs. Anyone have any idea how to do this? Thanks in advance!

1.call a vb function containing your arithmetic function from different plc

for eg:

Sub vb()

Dim TEM

SmartTags("ab")=SmartTags("HMI_Tag_1")+SmartTags("HMI_Tag_2")

End Sub

2. configure in scheduler for every 500ms and call vb function

you should not use cyclic operations. This is always the last solution you should use.

It is better that you start the Script from the event "Value Change" of every Tag you use in the Script except the result Tag. You have to project also the Aquisition Mode to "cyclic continuous" that you have always the latest value.

smaler Operations you can also do with the Systemfunction: "lineas scaling" here you can use a function  y = ax + b
