I have a S7-300 with a CPU314C-2 DP and i would like to connect it to a MicroMaster 440, but my inversor doesn't have the profibus module. My main objective is control a motor using the inversor controlled by a HMI. The HMI is a TP177B Pn/DP-6 and it's already connected with the PLC by a Profibus DP.

Any ideas about how to connect the MM4 with the PLC?

1-Use the standard wiring for the inverter.

2-Use any analog O/P signal(I/P to inverter) from the PLC as a speed reference signal.

3-Use unscale function FC106 for the required motor speed value to obtain speed reference signal.

You have to use one analog output from S7 and the input of MM440, you know how to do this?

On the TP177 have to push button plus and minus to control the drive?

You can create in S7 a program to increment or decrement a value to transfer to analog output, you know?

Take a look to connect a analog output of S7 to analog input of MM4 this is for MM420 but I think is the same:
