Hello everybody,

I'm working with  CPU 315-2 PN/DP and I'm developing offline some FCs. I tried to use the PLCSIM with the TCP/IP interface but it doens't work. It works just with PLCSIM(PROFIBUS) , I don't get why.

Is there some reason for this?

When you change the configuration of PLCSYM, do you change also the PG-PC interface to connect with it?¿

On the status bar you could see the IP that PLCSYM assigns to CPU, it's correct?¿

it can be that in the project you use the online access is configured to the MPI/DP network and not to the Ethernet network.

Try the following steps:

start PLCSIM and select the TCPIP interface
in simatic manager -> Options -> Set PG/PC Interface configure for S7ONLINE the interface PLCSIM.tcpip.
Try to download now with the TCPIP

I have Step 7 in Italian , for this reason I didn't attach the screenshot before. Anyway, this is what I get.

How do you generally parameterize the PG/PC interface and how do you ensure that the device driver can be selected and is visible?

Hi,

and check in netpro if there is a PG/PC configured and assigned to the PLC.

If yes then delete this PG/PC or unassign it, because a assigned PG/PC control how you connect the PLC, if PROFIBUS is configured you always use this to get onlein!
