Which version of PLCSIM I can install to work under this conditions? I tried from Siemens to download PLCSIM 5.4 SP4 plus other version even from TIA but still not working. I tried also with the update to SP5 Upd 1 but I need to have first a PLCSIM version. Can you please tell me at least if there is a solution? Thank you! Best regards, Mihai

hdhosseini Diamond Expert Joined: 1/28/2009 Last visit: 1/22/2026 Posts: 6892 Rating: (1368)	Hello, There is a compatibility tool that you can check if the SIMATIC products are compatible together and all with the operating system you are using.Run your own check here: https://support.industry.siemens.com/kompatool/pages/main/index.jsf?sitc=wwdfi10002 You can use : STEP 7 (STEP 7 Professional) V5.5 SP2 (2010 SR2) S7-PLCSIM V5.4 SP5 Upd2 (the latest that I know) on Microsoft Windows 7 Professional (64-Bit) SP1 .If you still have problem, install STEP 7 and S7-PLCSIM from the installation media (CD/DVD) available for STEP 7 Professional on a fresh copy of Microsoft Windows .
