I'm very new at using Step 7, but for my project I have to perform a temperature regulation and alarm system and we are using S7-Graph for it. The heater consists of a digital output, so I can understand that, when I activate the heater in the Graph, it will automatically switch the heater on. However, the LED alarm is analogue (1V-10V). How can I tell the LED to turn on at 10 V when I activate it, and if it's left inactivated, to keep at 1V? Can I insert a specific value when I activate a step in S7-GRAPH? I only want to use these two values (1V to simulate alarm off and 10 V to simulate alarm ON). 

Please help me.

if i understand correctly your question is : how to control an analog output?

in short :

search address for your analog output

search representation for you output (usually 0V=0 10V=27648)

transfer value for 1V (e.g. 2765) to output when 1V is needed

transfer value for 10V (e.g. 27648) to output when 10V is needed.

all detail in chapter 4-5-6 of this manual.
