i have connected 4 signal modules to s7-300  controller. out of 4 i want to remove second module how to remove it.

what are the steps?

-disconnect the power supply.

-open the screws on the bottom of the modules 2, 3 and 4.

-remove the modules.

-mount the modules 3 and 4 with the U-Bus-connector to the place you want to have them

 HI,

If it is a passive bus module proceed as per mops04 but if it is a active bus, just remove the IOs that you dont need even if the system is on ( just for temporary solution)

later you may change the HW config and rearrange when you have free time.
