The answer is basically the same as it was then: the M7 line has been declared obsolete, and no further development or assistance for migration is possible.

I believe that it is not possible. The machine code for a S7 CPU is very different from the one available from a compiled C executable. The OS system of the 2 machines is also incompatible.

M7 modules were installed on the same rack as the Siemens CPU, and had access to the IO modules through backplane communications. But the programs in the M7 was based on a DOS-based RT OS and programmed in Borland C, while the S7 was programmed with Step 7 and ran on a propriatery OS (they still do). 

If you want to try a more expert reply, you might want to open a Support Request to Siemens Support from the link at the top of this page. I doubt you will get a more encouraging answer, but as I have no more information on the subject, you have nothing to lose by addressing the question to Siemens employees. Don't expect an immediate answer, though, it might take a few days before they contact you back.
