Can someone pls. explain me this expression of S5 program of my Batching plant...

AN    T 127

L        S5#250MS

SE      T 127

CU       C0

L          C0

T         MB 5

A         M 5.3

R         C 0

Pls. explain how a counter value is transferred to MEMORY BYTE?

I am a regular user of S7 cpu and the above is a S5 to S7 converted Program.....

MB is not Memory Byte.

MB is a flag Byte. M = Merker (German language).

  You can use a TON to convert this 3 lines to S7

CU   C0    //if th T127.Q = TRUE  then count upthe counter C0 (rising edge)
L    C0    // load value of counter C0
T    MB 5  //transfer the value of counter C0 to MB5

The counter C0 is conting with the signal of T127.Q
You can use the CTU at the S7  
Connect the MW5 to the output "CV" at the CTU, important is a INT-variable

A         M 5.3 //if the Flag M5.3 = TRUE
R         C 0   //Reset C0 to 0

Connect the Flag M5.3 at the input "R" of the CTU

 Thanks dear for your detailed response.  Actually I understood the conversion, what i was trying to understand was

1.  Timer T127 will remain ON as long as CPU is not switched off after POWER ON.  Becauase it is nowhere reset once switched ON..

2.   And so the counter C0 will only be incremented once....

3.  Now The new counter value after power ON will be 1 and this 1 will be transferred to FLAG BYTE MB5 and it will in binary so MB5 = 00000001.   Means only Flag 5.0 will be ON....

4.  If that is the case how Flag 5.3 would reset C0?

5.  Also, will Counter not be reset to 0, if CPU is switched Off?

the timer 127 starts itself (on-delay). When the delay time has elapsed, the digital output of T127 becomes high and the control (AN T127) is no longer valid.
In the next cycle, the timer is no longer activated and the digital output of T127 will be reset, but the timer will be restarted because the instruction (AN T127) is valid again.
As you can see, the digital output of T127 has only one high cycle.
With each high of the timer, the meter reading is increased by one. At the counter of 8 the M 5.3 becomes high and sets the counter to 0.

2 count = 0000_0010 = 2
3 count = 0000_0011 = 3
4 count = 0000_0100 = 4

As I can read from Help F1,,,,,, SE timers are Extended Pulse Timers and triggers on if RLO is 1, and once timer starts running, no matter if RLO becomes 0, timer continues to run and then sets output to 1... Timer will not reset, unless explicitly Reset through command or IF there is a positive edge at RLO....

So, in my case, in the next cycle my contact T127 is already 1, then how Timer will restart?

And if for instance, timer changes state at every scan, The TIMER AND COUNTER will keep resetting,,,,, Timer every 250ms and Counter every 2.5ms x 7...

Also, i could not see in whole Cross Reference, the Timer T127and Counter C0 and Flag Byte 5, written anywhere else..... 

This PLC is communicating with a PC where the interface program is designed in Ms Dos....

This PC is no longer working....

Since you can look at everything. I only set the timer from 250ms to 1s 250ms to better watch the process.

Thanks a lot for your interest.... Now, your video shows a scene with On Delay Timer.... Well, I would check online tomorrow, whether my SE timer is English or German.....The behaviour of the Timer will tell us the true story...

Confirmed....It is an Extended Pulse Timer..  

Actually the programmer has created three 250ms pulses (M5.0, M5.1 and M5.2).......
