Is it possible to use the printer port of HMI for Modbus Communication(using the necessary Converter). In this case thePLC1 needs to communicate with a HMI and PLC2(Main PLC). So initially we have Proposed CPU 224Xp and TD200 so that by using the two ports in PLC this can be accomplished.

But one of the Competitor is supplying a HMI with two ports and the same with very less price.

So is it possible to use a HMI with Two Ports andif this is thecase will there be any price advantages.
