I'm having4 similar zones, each zone has the same parameters of the other ones. 4 zones need to be parameterized through one recipe. Itried to arrange my recipe view and add lines or rectangles over it but it seems there's no way in flexible 2007. I thought I could change font colors of entry elements but unfortunately this was not possible. Is there any ideas? Did anyone tryWinCC flexible 2008? Is it still the same that we can't put a picture or a line over the recipe view? What about font colors of entry elements?

FunStuff Posts: 103 Rating: (10)	H-H, You say you have 4 zones each with the same parameters but different values. Correct? If that is the case all you need to do is to use 1 recipe with 4 different Data Records. This will allow you to have the same parameters for all 4 zones with 4 different sets of values. Each Data Record can have a unique name and number for distinction. Unless I missed something I believe that is what you are trying to do.

We have 10 different products so there will be 40 different data records It's not desired, I would like to enable the operator to download one recipe (containing parameters for all zones) since the 4 zones will finally produce a single product at the end. In case of 4 different data records for each product, the operator will have to take very good care and download the 4 desired data recordsof the desired product each timeand the PLC code will manage destination of each data record according to data record name or number. mmm, I don't know, I'm trying to get a better way.

FunStuff Posts: 103 Rating: (10)	Do the operators need to modify the recipe values? If not I get around this type of problem by using a drop down menu linked to an integer value representing which product. Then I use scripting to select all the recipes and data records and push them to the plc (I don't sychronize tags). Let me know if this would work for you and I can send you the code.

I liked your way but my problem is that the operator needs to see the parameters as he changes their values frequently. I'm going to show him everything in one recipe wishing that he accepts it as it is because if doesn't accept it, i think i will have to build my own recipe algorithm and recipe view.
