i am acutally programming with the SIEMENS IOT 2040 and have a question.

I wrote a c++ file to read the status of my USER Button (GPIO63). My plan was it to change the colour of my User LED from green to red after i pressed the button few seconds later again. 

First Tap on button: LED -> red

wait 5 sec.

Second Tap on button: LED -> green

But my problem is, that after i pressed the button and released it, my sketch is been reseted. (I am using the Arduino IDE).

Is it possible that i can suppress that event ?

Both files are connected with a Header and a class structure.

The Galileo Arduino runtime uses the that button by default to trigger a reset. I think this is even hard-coded into the service.

If you want to use the button otherwise, disable the sketch and program natively, e.g. against mraa. That's cleaner than most of the Arduino libraries and examples anyway.

That below is just an Attachement for my main post:

If i press the user button and hold it for few seconds, the system recognize that as a normal Button and the LED is changing the colour, but after releasing it, the reset ist happening again.
