TAGood Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	I am using an S7-200 224XP PLC and a PPI USB cable along with Excel on a Windows XP system. I havePC Access working with my program. There aretwo values I examine. I can read the values in a single cell without any problems. However, I want to create a log file of each reading I take. Can I trigger when to take a reading with an event that occurs in the PLC? If so, how do I do that? Also, how do I takemyreadings and then move to the next line in Excel? I can't seem to find information on how to do this. I have examined the sample program included with PC Access, but I can't seem to locate the information within the program as to how it accomplishes this type of action.

123FLA Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	If your reading values thru excel you can use the OnDataChange Sub, using this sub everytime a value is changed than your statement will be triggered.
