The files *.??d are old DOS-Simovis files. The attached converting-program can convert it into WINDOWS-Simovis files. This converting-program was on former DriveMonitor CD. "sc" stays for "Servocontrol = CU3" The converted parameter-file do not have the drive-properties, necessary for DriveMonitor. When opening a converted parameter-file with DriveMonitor, a window appears: drive-properties are missing. Because in SIMOVIS, the drives-information was stored in some kind of common table (buscon) for up to 31 drives. In a DriveMonitor file, the drives-information is stored in each dnl-file as a header, which can be seen via notepad or similar. Click to o.k. and you can / must fill in the drive-properties in the same way like creating a new parameter-file in DriveMonitor: drive-properties Regarding the drive-properties: Create a new parameter-file in DriveMonitor. Save the dnl-file and open it with Notepad (or similar program). You will see the header in front of the first parameter-line. The header contains the drive-properties.
