HELLO EVERYBODY

i have 6 modules of IM151-7 CPU connected to cpu 315-2dp through profibus
now i want to make modification to IM151-7 CPU , i made the modification to the program and download it and it is working.
but when i cut the power of the machine and reconnect it again the modification is lost and the original program only exist without modification .
so i need help to make that modification.

"In the case of CPU modules that have a built-in EPROMyou can use the "Copy RAM to ROM..." function to copy the content of the internal RAM load memory to the built-in EPROM load memory so as not to lose data in the case of power failure without battery or overall reset."

dear Towome.

i don't use "copy ram to rom" function i just download it.

if i use it the program will be transferred to RAM so i can make modification but i am afraid the program may be lost if power failure or making overall reset .

So there is any way to change from RAM to ROM after i made the modification

i have a backup program from it on my PC .

should i do it when the the IM151-7 in stop mode.

I didn't delete the MMC just to show you the procedures .

I make the changes and make "copy RAM to ROM" as you said and its successfully succeeded .
