Hi Millikan, Perhaps you are trying to oversimplify here. I assume that the drive and motor were "paired" in the previous installation and not just randomly obtained. Have you confirmed that the correct motor is selected, and that the encoder is correctly configured? Please refer to the Compendium manual, there is a reasonably basic commissioning procedure/flowchart in section 6. ManualHERE Did you set P100 = 4, or was it already set to this from the previous installation. I agree that a new "fresh" configuration might be best, but all the same, get a backup of the drive parameters first so you have some frame of reference. One consolation, at least the drive didn't blow up when you powered it on after several years of not being used which was a distinct possibility Just out of curiosity, what are the two parameters you mention that do not appear on Drivemonitor? P130 is a valid parameter but if you mean P1151, then Yes, you are correct, this does not exist, it should be P151. Regards, Graeme

Of course! Here it is. I've gone through the manual and tried to change things but so far I've been completely unsuccessful in order to make the motor run through dSpace. I want that because I need that motor to follow a particular speed profile that I don´t know how to generate in DriveMonitor. AttachmentRig.zip (476 Downloads) |
