ok lets see.

i put the switch from terminal 7 (15V) to Terminal 10 (Din 3)

set P053 to 9 ( remote high)

checked P720 its at 4 Binary state high for Din 3

( 0 0 1 0 0 ) Din 5 = 0, Din 4 = 0, Din 3 =1, Din 2 =0, Din 1 =0.

that seems to be correct.

Set P0910 to 1 ( remote ) 

now irrespective of what setting P006 has

the motor fires up and spins a few times then stops and locks up

so its taking certain values. i need to just work on it. i will send

a progress update on each test

Ok getting somewhere now

put links in terminal 1 and 3

terminal 2 and 4

set P006 to 2

set P910 to 1

set P053 to 9

set P022 to 8.00

set control word 1 to run

pressed accept - motor runs perfect 

so the analogue signals via remote work fine.

changed the setpoint as motor was running to 9 and it sped up -

changed to 3.00 and it slowed down

never thought to hardwire the pot terminals.

your a genius.

I am now not sure where we are, happens a lot with these things.

I would be tempted to reset to default settings, and start again??

Reset is, P944 = 1, then press P.

Set P007 = 1, to enable the front keypad buttons.

Then check it runs correctly from there, run/stop, and setpoint from the up/down buttons.

But see how you get on with your checks..

Hi,

once i get the speed control program running

i will upload the source code ( c++)

its half way there now.  anybody trying to get connections from a 

pc (windows) should be able to use it as a start point to connect to a drive via

usb.

yeah it will be great to get back to normal
