If protected you can't open it at all (only if sourcefile is included). Are you trying to open a standard block from siemens library ? Then you have no need to open the block, Press F1 on this block an read how to use it. Regards, Marcjan

As an example the function in attahment is FB22 (ROCLIM) from modular PID control package.Upload the data here or search via net for more information on the block. Best regards, Hamid Hosseini dear hamid , i will check with ur proceduer in the evning because i am not in my office , but i checked the general-part2 ,there is mark on (know how it protection) but i am not sure what the (author and family) once i see the block i will make print screen and upload it. best regard,

Copy your function in the "Blocks" folder.Archive the project and upload it here. Best regards, Hamid Hosseini
