Hello.

I have problem with WinCC7.4SP1 (I have a 2 redundant servers) connection to S7-1200 PLC.

My system was properly connected from January 2023, to today :(

Today I see on WinCC server tag management status:"Disconnected"

on the winCC diagnose logs I see:

Nothing has been changed in the system since January.
Today, It disconnected by itself.

I try to power off and power on the PLC, - not solved problem

I do not have a connection on both servers...

Ping from servers to the plc are ok.

Wincc 7.4SP1 u15 (upgraded from 7.3)

Simatic net V12 SP2

Please help me.

I do not know the issue. Maybe you could load the AS file again, with the Certificate? 

Maybe that would solve the problem?

What do you mean by "load AS file again"?
I have manually created tags (DBs) in tag management on this connection channel in winCC application.I have never used any load AS option.

I am no expert, but in your TIA project, if you right click your PLC an choose Export to SIMATIC SCADA.

Then you generate a Zip file with all your tag. 

In SCADA Tag managment, you right click on your connection -> AS Symbols ->Load from file and choose your zip filen. 

Then you get at  certificate and all tour PLC tags. 

But I do not know how this will affect your current manual generated tags.

The Certificates topic in case of the Secure HMI Connection is not the reason here because you do not have WinCC V7.5 SP2 Upd4 or newer. So if you PLC has a new FW ( TIA V17 or V18) then only the Secure HMI connection has to be disabled and everything should work.

can you open the tool Channel Diagnosis (is installed in the WinCC tools).

Which Update do you use in V7.4 SP1?

I have update v15.

This PLC and WinCC Servers are connected via IT infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls etc).
Maybe problem is in infrastructure ? Firewall ?

In PG/PC settings I have correct ethernet card selected, no one did anything about it.

I wonder why it suddenly disconnected by itself...on both servers...no one did anything about it.

I try to restart the WinCC project on server no.2.

This is channel diagnosis from server2, after deactivate and activate the project.

Ping to the PLC are ok.

hm seems like the settings are OK. -> and SImatic Net should work also because the S7 Protocol Suite connection is also OK.

S71200/1500 also uses Port 102 so if the Ping is OK and the S7300/400 works also then network should be OK.

Do you have restarted the PLC also? perhaps here thee is an issue with connection ressources that are blocked or not freed anymore...

The plc s7-1200 has restarted many times (power off and on). This not resolve problem.

I would like to mention that on another facility in the factory, a similar problem occurred on PLC s7-1500 and WinCC 7.3.
The connection broke by itself.

Another PLC, another OS station, another version of WinCC.

All stations have installed on Windows 2012 Server R2.
