Settings on the Printer:
On the printer, no settings can be made,
i.e. all settings are to be made in WinCE (Panel).

Settings in WinCE under "Control Panel" --> "Printer":
Printer Language --> Epson 9

Paper Orientation --> Portrait
The interface has to be set to USB.
Cable:
This printer is to be connected via a USB cable.

+ No "Landscape" orientation possible for this type.

You are right. . We are discussing LX-300+II ,and you asked for LX-300+.. This type product is discontinued. I supposed that new one is LX-300+II. If you look at specification of LX-300+, standart interfaces is Parallel, Serial. And you can connect this type printer only via parallel or serial. So, look at SIMATIC HMI Touch Panel TP170 A, TP170 B Operator Panel OP170 B (page 156 and page 175). There has explanation how to connect serial printer to the TP170B (IF2 port) plus necessary settings. Also you can use settings for EPSON TM T88 III from excel table.

Hope this will help you to make this connection and use this type priner. You can also use other serial printer, but for panel is important, this one to use Printer Language ESC/P2. Like yours.
