Online Communication Problem with Dell D830

Dufour Posts: 23 Rating: (0)	All, for some time now I have had a problem with my Dell D830 Laptop going online. I have seen this problem in the past on another Laptop as well (D820) the only way I have solved it is my formatting the HD and reinstalling everything. Most recently the event occured after installing WinCC Flex 2008 (2007 was not installed before this). What happens is after a reboot I can go online or download to the PLC via ethernet 2-4 times and thenit loses communications through Step 7 the next time I rtry to go online or download to the PLC. I can still ping the PLC, and ethernet works fine, and the problem happens on a variety of different S7-300 series PLCs. Im sure it's some strange configuration problem but I cannot find it. I have tried running a registry cleaner and uninstalling software with no success. Attached is the message that comes up when comms fails. The only method I have foudn to correct this is by rebooting the laptop. Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone else have some ideas of what I can do to solve it?
