Saravana kumar Platinum Member Joined: 2/6/2009 Last visit: 1/6/2026 Posts: 940 Rating: (119)	Hi, As per my knowledge in the S7 300 PLC there is no posiblity of ethernet communication at the start up because first you have to assign the IP address for the CPU or CP card by MPI or DP communication. Only first time MPI or DP communication is needed after that you can access your CPU by assigned IP address. To access the S7 300 ethernet you have to select TCP/IP in the SET PG/PC interface. (note: please take care about memory reset of CPU.Because after complete memory reset again you have to set the IP address by MPI or DP communication.)
