MCello Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	I am novice in this arena and would like to have a good reference to study the diffrences and similarities between PCS7, WinCC and LabView approaches; a kind of comarison chart that shows pros and cons for each approach. Please help me to find such comparison chart or analytical articles helping me to understand the advantages and disadvantages of each approach. Thank you.

MCello Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Thank you, Cumulus, for responding and helping. We are a shop with about 135 Step 5 PLCs and 40 MMI systems. We are confronted with the challenge of getting our systems updated and confused about an upgrade path as there are several paths available. Some suggest to use LabView to develop all the systems. Off the shelf packages like PCS7 is another alternative. Is there any good article that could shed some light on the complicated (at lease to me) subject as what are the options, pros and cons of each option and what would be a logical and uo-to-date path for a reasonable and yet advanced upgrade to what we have. I again thank you for your help.
