how i can prepare an licence for my sinumerik 8440dsl ?

at now a timer  related to machine works time activated and trial license's time is decreasing !

Licensing for Sinumerik 828D / 840Dsl is done via a web portal:

www.siemens.com/automation/license

You'll need the license & delivery note number printed on the license certificate you have purchased for the requested option and also the Hardware Serial Number of the system CF card which you want to register the new license against.

If wanna  buy another NCU with new CF card that have licensed , can resolve problem or probably i need another things that unknowing ! ?

The advantage of above action will made to machine working correctly , I  think.

Sorry but could I ask for a little more information for what you are trying to do ? I detail a few scenarios below:

1. Original CF card is defective: Here you would need to purchase a replacement CF from Siemens but specify "without license", for this simply change the last digit on the failed card to an "8" rather then "0". For example a spare part replacement card for system software 4.92 Export 6FC5851-1YG46-2YA0 would be 6FC5851-1YG46-2YA8. Once this card is received you would then load across the necessary data (tgz / data archives etc) before opening a support request with Siemens giving the old and new hardware serial numbers printed on the CF cards , the support desk will then transfer the licenses across and issue you with a new license key.

2. Your machine is running but you want to activate a new options - for this you would access the website in my previous post and enter the machines CF card hardware serial number, you then enter the details found on the licensing certificate which you received when purchasing the new option. The tool then generates you a new key which you can enter at the control.

when I cheking machine I don't found any licenese about 840d SL  .

As you know for creating a license on siemens site we need to both serial on CF-CSRD & NCU license paper that showed purchasing NCU ! , YES ?

So I think if  replacing ncu with a new , it must be correct .do you think ?

You can find the licenese key currently registered against the CF card by going to the previously listed website and selecting "display license key" , from here enter the hardware serial number of the CF card.

unfurtunately for intrupting my network I can't any comment on last post !

as same as command of dear "Luke" cultivate keys . but this keys exist on the CF card in this path :

Linux Ext2:\keys\sinumerik\keys.txt

I need to Assign Licenses to the Hardware and Generate the License Key acording enclouser .
