840C-HHU problem

In a 840C machine, it works properly when the handwheel is on INC1 or INC10, but when it is on INC100, it works with INC10 (step motion 0.010mm) and in MMC display INC100 ??? Axes works well with the MCP for INC1/INC10/IN100 I checked and modified many parameters(MD5640 , MD5006.1,...) but it did not work. How can I solve the problem? Thanks a lot.

It is connected to digital inputs, so the PLC programmer has choosen the actions to be taken from the inputs. It is common that some manufactures see it as a "Hazard" to put the Handwheel in 100INC Step, due to the possibility for a "run away" machine if the handwheel is spun at a high rate.

PISCEAN 2010 Posts: 8092 Rating: (884)	Hello, Please check Handwheel (rotary encoder) pulses on oscilloscop or by replacing it. If it is not possible then try by replacing HHU unit. HTH
