2. In my project CPU 317F- 3 PN/DP. What this 3 denotes/signifies?

3. As said in my first post - I want to know what inbuilt safety functions are with CPU 317F - 3PN/DP? Why it is not available in Siemens product search?

1. Yes, it is not a safety  / Fail-Safe CPU.
2. The number "3" means number of interfaces.
   1st Interface: MPI / DP
   2nd Interface: Profibus DP
   3rd Interface: PN

O course you have the failsafe PLC inside your Sinumerik system:

 sorry! I should have paid more attention.

It acts like the 317F, so for the funtions have a look into the Distributed Safety manual, or, if you use Safety Advanced, the Safety Advanced manual.
