Hello all,

I have an 840d SL with a NCU+PCU50.5 structure. The system is running with sinumerik operate.

I want to use an NC program to write data to a USB using the "WRITE" command and maybe with the "EXTOPEN" command.

I've been through the job planning manual, the 840d commission manual and I had no luck.

Is there anyone that can give me some advice on this? Thank you in advance.

At first you must sure your USB connected to your system correctly , I saw some USB memory can't connect to system , so ... .

Be better your USB checked with antivirus before connecting to controller !and prefer
that's format FAT32 .

I think according to manual you must win .

Unfortunately, I just cannot find any information on the manuals how to write data to USB from an NC program.
