Simotion D goes to stop if one CU is off

If one control unit is off, due to some reason, the Simotion goes to stop, and we will not have any data from the network. So, we will not read the inputs anymore, to check what happened. Any way to keep the Simotion running, even if some nodes are missing ? 6AU1455-2AD00-0AA0 , 6AU1400-2PA23-0AA0-Z M44 , 6SL3040-1MA01-0AA0 , 6SL3054-0FB01-1BA0 , 6ES7155-6AU01-0CN0 , 6ES7138-6CG00-0BA0

ChristophD Grandmaster-Expert Joined: 5/12/2006 Last visit: 12/19/2025 Posts: 22816 Rating: (3073)	it will stop if you access i/O of the CU directly from simotion program then you get this access error and simotion switch to stop this is normal. you can use _set/_getsafevalue for accessing and errorhandling to go not into stop or you configure in the i/O Symbol table a substitution value for the I/O of CU
