Hi,

I have a Simodrive Posmo a 75w that I have some problem to understand how to setup and communicate with the motor

Iam using TIA Portal 16 and have tried to use PPO type 1 to set up the motor. I can 'jog' the motor forward/reverse by setting bits in the control word (STW). But I don't know how to set all the P-parameters.

For example:

P700=2 (position mode)

p700=1 (speed setpoint mode)

P8=maximum speed

Please provide MLFB/article number of drive & controller.

I found a solution how to get the motor to work. I am new to PLC programming and didn't know that I should use another program SimoCom A to set all parameters in the motor.

When all parameters was set with SimoCom A there was no problem to use Tia Portal and the control word to control the motor.
