OS can not dawn load to plc sim

Program - We use PLC CPUs to execute the program 2. SCADA/GUI (Graphical user interface) - A GUI displays objects that convey information, and represent actions that can be taken by the user. The objects change color, size, or visibility when the user interacts with them. Program can be tested using PLCSIM before downloading it to actual CPU. Wherein, GUI/OS section use the targeted PC to show the graphical part of your project. Hence, You can't download the OS part to PLCSIM. Considering single station project, please follow the below steps 1. Download you charts to PLCSIM and make it run 2. Expand the PC station & right click on OS and open the WinCC in order to design and configure (See attached file - Project.PNG) 3. Click on activate button to go to RUNTIME Please follow the below steps to download the OS station. Go to properties of your OS station -> Target OS and Standby OS computer select the targeted path download the OS data.(See attached file - OS Path.PNG) Note: Targeted path should be a shared folder. Please follow the below steps if you are using a separate PC as OS. 1. Create a folder 2. Set as Shared folder with full access 3. Come back to ES PC and select OS path for your OS using properties. 4. Searc -> Select "Network" -> Slect the OS Target PC ->Select the "Shared Folder -> And click on "Save". Hope it helps you.

To make OS online via PLC SIM, Please follow the below steps. Go to Tagmanagment in WinCC -> Select "S7 Protocol suite" -> "TCP/IP" right click ->System Parameters -> select "PLCSIM TCP/IP" -> close and activate the WinCC to get the data. PLCSIM should be in RUN mode to get the data. Please go through the below link of WinCC getting started to know more about WinCC. https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/us/en/view/109792620
